UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY: HENRY VIII
What an honor to join a handful of other classical theater artists to explore the frequently overlooked but abundant world of Shakespeare's play, Henry Viii! On Thursday, January 28th at 7pm CST, we gathered virtually with Oklahoma Shakespeare to present an Equity Zoom reading of selected scenes from the play followed by an open table style discussion on the characters and themes. It was a joy to dissect the fascinating character of Katherine of Aragon and consider the play's relevance to modern audiences. The entire presentation is available to view on Oklahoma Shakespeare's website: click here.

If you are looking to quickly jump to my meatiest scenes, please check out the following times during the performance:

CHICAGO ACTING SCENE DEBUT!

***PENDING RESCHEDULING ONCE LIVE PERFORMANCES CAN SAFELY RESUME AFTER THE PANDEMIC
After just settling into my new home in Chicago, I'm trilled to announce my first Equity acting gig here is already in the works! I couldn't be more excited to appear as Mariana/Mistress Overdone in a series of staged readings of William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, produced by the Shakespeare Project of Chicago. In Fall 2020, we will perform this nuanced, timely exploration of the nature of authority and corruption across eight different intimate, Chicago-area library settings. And the best part about it—these performances are performed free of charge for the public. Click here to learn more about this wonderful organization. More details to follow!
